Product Uses

Soccer

Grasstex has manufactured hundreds of indoor soccer and indoor football fields. Some of the fields are still in use. In the last 4 years the number of large indoor fields has become more numerous. Almost every college and some high schools are adding indoor practice facilities for their students.

Football

Safety Turf XP42 — 2 1/2"-63mm-Polyloom Polyethylene fiber. Ninety nine G-Max if top dressed with two inches of recycled rubber. Rated the best for football.

Star Pro Soccer — Bonar Polyethylene Monofilament. Ninety five G-Max if two inches of rubber is used. Passes all tests for FIFA *2-star*

Engineered Turf — 45mm of 100% monofilament yarns. Constructed of 30% Polyethylene and 70% Monofilament Polypropylene on a tight 3/16 gauge. You have the beauty of the rubber filled polyethylene systems without the rubber particles. The 5mm cushion back adds the extra safety feature. The ball rolls true in all directions. FIH Tested. Indoor or Outdoor.

Baseball

Grasstex has manufactured turf for use in batting and pitching cages, bull pens, soft toss zones, coaches boxes, dugouts, behind and around home plate, on deck area, and batting circles. Custom styles are available.

Golf

Grasstex also manufacturs turf for use on golf courses, putting greens, as well as driving ranges. All the Grass Tex putting greens are manufactured with a very special type of monofilament yarn. This yarn creates a turf that makes the ball roll true and straight. We have several styles that have average stemp speeds of 8-13. This characteristic is important and sets us apart from the older style yarns. Grass Tex is the only company offering such a complete line of golf products. Most of our competitors only have one choice; we have five choices. All of our styles look like natural grass and have the No Pile Direction feature. The turf can be glued down or sand filled - it's your choice.
